I love everything about this hat! It keeps my scalp, nose, 7 forehead from sun burn. The bill is firm enough to hold its shape but flexible enough to drop over my eyes when I duck, just enough to keep my contacts from taking a beating but not enough to block my sight. This hat stays in place, and the clip holds. I literally wear it everytime I paddle out!

This hat is the bomb. I spent a week surfing as much as possible in beautiful costa rica with this baby and it's changed my life. no longer does my face and bald spot get scortched when i'm on the board! plus it's really nice to have a brim on the hat as it cuts down on sun glare (not a lot, but just enough to really make a difference). The hat is well constructed and I never felt like it was going to come off in the waves. I figure eventually I'll lose it - I'm thinking what'll eventually happen is that years from now the clip that holds it on will wear and it may break. but so far so good and i took some really good wipe outs and hat stayed on the whole time. even nice when you're paddling out and have to smash through some waves - keeps the water out of your eyes/face a little. Plus the hat is super comfy i've just started wearing it as my main go-to hat even when not surfing.
Moral of the story - the hat is expensive but if you want a surf hat this is the one to go for. it's quality, it works, and i expect it'll last a while as long as I don't misplace/lose it...

Better than expected! It went through some heavy sets without even leaving my head! Dries fast and it is very light! I just wish there were more colours available and even the possibility of personalising it. All in all, the best surf hat I have!

Best surf hat so far. Can wear it tight and it rarely comes off after a wipeout...even if it does come off it floats nicely so I can find it in the water. I haven't needed to use the clasp under the chin yet (surf has been chest high for the most part), but will do so when the waves get larger during out summer season in Hawaii. Nice, stylish hat, that doesn't get waterlogged at all. Mahalos. Jim

Love this hat! This is my second one. The hat is comfortable, works great and has never fallen off even in big wipeouts (with the chin strap of course) .

Great surf hat all around (I've worn others and need to after 40+ years in the water). Looks great and stays on well during thrashings. Tight fit (I have a big head and the large fits perfect!). A really great find. Have the Mellow Yellow. Will purchase a Shallow Sea so I have a back up when it's available again. Mahalo!

hi, i surfing on the eisbach in munich . Ok it is not so sunny on the river, but the it is good looking and the cap stay on the head. So my result i like the cap, the quality is very good, i have no defacts, and I not only wear them when surfing but also when I'm skating or just like that. I'm looking forward to wearing them by the sea. Peace and greetings from munich city ;)

The surf hat itself is perfect - never falls off, sustains waves, wipe-outs, duck diving, etc. all as advertised. And rather sexy in design. What struck me more was how responsive the company owners have been, and how they truly care about their product and clientele. We need much more of this in our communities!! Obrigado!

Incredible , very good quality and materials
A part to protect from the sun , it protect also the eyes from water coming in and strong wipeout . I totally recommend , i don’t need to put incredible amount of sunscreen, Best object ever in the surf industry!!

This hat is everything it was advertised to be. I have surfed in mine like 10 times already and it looks exactly as it came. It seems very durable and dries faster than any other surf hat I have ever owned. I find myself putting this hat on every day now, even when I am not surfing. stoked!

Construction✔, superior materials✔, design✔, stitching✔, form✔, weight of hat✔, (hardly a difference wet or dry) comfort and fit✔ The hat was put through a couple of heavy wipe outs never slipped, twisted or came off my head✔ In fact, when resurfacing, I hardly noticed I even had a hat on my head!✔ It is a treasured surf essential for me, I don't even like suncreen smudges on the underside of the peak. It's the best "surf hat" I have ever worn✔ There you have it, your research and work on the product roars to the fore! You hit the "bulls eye" every time! 10 out of 10. A couple people commented how cool the hat looked too. I hope your elated because I surely am. Well done you've got a winner! I'm truly stoked.
